Clinical Studies are useful to determine what a plant medicine can be used to treat, and to demonstrate safety. Several medicinal plants were evaluated for their good toxicological in laboratory animals or cell culture experiment that is qualified for clinical trials in humans. After the screening, only those medicinal plants without serious toxic effects in animals and cell culture experiments were chosen for further studies.
